So, the automatic cashback deal was conceived. These offers offered more realistic savings than the cash-back by redemption deals, but, the refund was guaranteed. It was automatic, given to the customer the moment the contract was completed, and so, the term automatic cashback was used to describe this kind of mobile deal.
For consumers looking for an automatic cash-back mobile phone deal, without question, the easiest place to locate one is online. Whilst it may be possible to find one of these offers on the high street it is far less likely. For a start, the high street cellular telephone retailers do not generally offer such good deals or promotions purely because their running costs are a lot more than those of their online competition (though their consumer service is often superior). Also, it is challenging for shops to make money with these offers. The margins with automatic cashback deals are so tight that they require constant monitoring, factoring in changes in the levels of commission paid and the price of of the mobile phones themselves. This often means that the shelf life of a particular deal is quite short, once that ends you (as a customer) have to wait for the next automatic cashback offer to come along.
For this reason cellphone comparison sites are usually the best way to find an automatic cashback offer , as they will show all offers by all online stores on one page. These deals are obscure, representing a tiny amount of the total number of offers on offer, and, you will have to accept an older less well featured handset in order to obtain one. But for the thrifty, automatic cashback deals are by far the cheapest way to run a mobile phone.
